Position Details:
Work part-time for 20 hours each week, offering a great balance for professional and personal life Choose between onsite or teletherapy (VOCO) service delivery based on your expertise and preference Serve students at the secondary level, helping support their communication and academic development
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) certification is required Previous experience working in K-12 schools, with a strong background in secondary education preferred Demonstrated ability to oversee and supervise support staff as needed Skilled in conducting assessments, writing evaluations, and participating in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings Proficiency in conducting speech-language testing and implementing therapy plans for adolescents
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language pathology services aligned with students IEP goals through assessment, diagnosis, and intervention Supervise support staff or interns, providing guidance and support to ensure high-standard service delivery Complete necessary testing and evaluations for students and prepare comprehensive reports Actively participate in ARDs and collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to develop effective strategies for student progress Experience the rewards of fostering communication skills and helping students reach their full potential.
