Job Description

Step into an engaging, contract-based opportunity serving schools in the Wylie, TX area as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)! This onsite assignment is designed for an experienced professional eager to positively shape student outcomes across multiple educational settings. Your expertise will play a vital role in supporting both a Junior High and an Elementary school SLP on maternity leave, beginning with the start of the school year through October 19th. Additionally, coverage will be needed for a High School SLP maternity leave from late September to mid-November, making this a dynamic role with varied student interaction and plenty of opportunities to demonstrate your clinical versatility.

Qualifications and Skills:

Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Texas Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families Excellent written and verbal communication skills Adaptable and efficient in managing changing schedules and student caseloads

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of students Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and state standards Provide recommendations and resources to teachers and caregivers Consult and collaborate with school staff and fellow therapists to optimize student outcomes Travel between designated schools as needed This contract role offers the chance to work full-time hours (37.5 per week) in a supportive school environment where your skills make an immediate impact.
