Role:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Highland Care Center, you will be responsible for: Conducting comprehensive assessments and treatments for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals and improve communication skills Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and achieve patient outcomes Providing education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote independence and wellness Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and swallowing evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient goals and needs Provide speech, language, and swallowing therapy to patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and achieve patient outcomes Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
