Qualifications:

Current and valid SLP licensure for Virginia is required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience within school settings or with K-12 student populations Comfortable utilizing teletherapy platforms for remote services Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, adapting methods to fit in-person and teletherapy environments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals Participate in student assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations as required Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' progress Contribute creative ideas to enhance students communication skills across multiple learning settings This contract assignment begins October 19th and runs through December 18th, providing a focused period to create meaningful change within the school community.
