Speech Language Pathologist Job Requirements:
Education requirements - Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (CCC & CFs encouraged to apply) Virginia State SLP License preferred SLPA applicants: Associate's or bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field. Meet applicable Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology requirements for SLPA practice.
Speech Language Pathologist Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide on site speech, language and swallowing therapy services in a focused 1:1 setting. Complete required clinical documentation (SOAP notes, progress reports, evaluation reports). Counsel and support families as needed for carryover of recommendations with patient consent. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team as needed to maximize patient progress.
