Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school setting near Fredericksburg, VA. This position allows you to focus your expertise at a single elementary campus, delivering high-impact services to young learners. With a flexible part-time schedule totaling 18.75 hours per week, you can achieve a healthy work-life balance while making meaningful contributions to student development.
Ideal candidates will possess:
A current, active Virginia SLP license Previous experience in a school-based SLP role preferred Familiarity working with elementary-aged children Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Attention to detail in timely completion of documentation and progress reporting Willingness to complete district-specific credentialing, including a TB test and on-site background check Position highlights include: Serving one dedicated elementary campus (Winding Creek Elementary) Providing assessment, intervention, and ongoing therapy for students in grades K5 Developing individualized treatment plans and participating in IEP meetings Collaborating closely with teachers, administration, and caregivers to promote student success Managing a dynamic caseload to support a range of speech and language needs Enjoying a consistent schedule from now through late May 2027 This contract role is a wonderful chance to positively impact childrens communication skills in an educational setting.
