Key Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services to K-12 students. Adapt intervention plans for diverse learning needs in a school setting. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Document student progress and attend IEP meetings as required. Collaborate closely with educators and families to ensure student success. Support students at two school sites during SLP maternity leaves (with steady coverage needs through the spring).
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active SLP license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CF candidates will be considered. Prior experience working with K-12 students is a plus. Strong communication, organization, and adaptability.
