Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners as a Speech Language Pathologist! This contract opportunity runs from November 9th to December 18th and offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday. You'll work directly with an elementary school caseload, providing essential services and support to help students communicate and thrive academically and socially. Whether you're a seasoned SLP-CCC or looking to complete your Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CF), your expertise and compassion will shape students' futures. The school environment is collaborative, supportive, and encourages creative approaches to therapy.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (Virginia or eligible for reciprocity) SLP-CCC or SLP-CF welcome to apply Experience working with elementary-age students preferred Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities A passion for helping children achieve communication goals
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary school students in individual or small group settings Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students This assignment offers a chance to make a real difference within a welcoming school community.
