Key Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but consideration given to strong new graduates (CFY) Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly desired Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and development of IEP goals Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across various grade levels Develop, implement, and monitor personalized therapy plans in alignment with IEPs Deliver direct and consultative therapy servicesboth group and individual Collaborate actively with teachers, families, and support personnel to optimize student progress Document intervention outcomes and maintain compliance with district and state standards Provide training and resources to staff and caregivers when needed
