This full-time contract role covers 37.5 hours per week and involves supporting students across all grade levels. Youll help cover two maternity leaves, providing essential continuity in speech and language services for schools near Locust Grove, VA. Youll play a critical part in fostering students communication skills, working collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Valid SLP license for the state or eligibility to obtain Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferredClinical Fellows considered Prior experience in school-based settings is ideal Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Strong interpersonal and communication skills Adaptable, organized, and collaborative mindset

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse K-12 caseload Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain timely IEP paperwork and progress updates Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents on strategies for student success Ensure compliance with federal, state, and school policies Support positive student outcomes during the coverage of two SLP maternity leaves
