Speech-Language Pathologist in Newport News, VA ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Newport News, VA Job Details Full-time Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young students by providing expert speech-language pathology services for K-5th graders in a dynamic school environment near Newport News, VA. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility) for school settings in Virginia Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred Demonstrated expertise supporting students with autism Comfortable traveling between two nearby school sites Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support teamsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy plans Support students' communication needs in both classroom and small-group settings Partner with teachers and support staff to ensure IEP goals are integrated into daily learning Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines Engage in parent communication and participate in IEP meetings as neededWhy You'll Love This Role:
