Key Qualifications:

Active and current SLP licensure for the state of Virginia required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Previous experience providing speech-language services in an educational environment desired Comfortable delivering therapy on site and via teletherapy platforms Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to tailor therapy plans to a diverse student population

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide direct therapy services to students Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and support staff Utilize teletherapy technology to provide services when necessary, ensuring continuity of care Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to address speech, language, and communication disorders within the school community Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment to support each students success
