This flexible position is ideal for an SLP who values clinical independence, individualized care, and the opportunity to work within a specialty-focused practice. Position Responsibilities Complete evaluations and provide evidence-based speech-language therapy Develop individualized plans of care and functional treatment goals Maintain accurate, timely, and insurance-compliant documentation Communicate effectively with clients, families, providers, and team members Participate in care coordination as clinically appropriate Provide PRN coverage based on client demand and clinician availability Available from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Monday to Thursday) and 8:00 to 12:30 PM Fridays Our practice serves clients with needs that may include: Orofacial myofunctional disorders Tongue-tie and oral-function concerns TMJ-related speech, swallowing, or muscle dysfunction Voice and upper-airway concerns Pediatric and adult speech-language disorders Experience in these specialty areas is welcomed but not required. Training and mentorship may be available for the right candidate. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active or eligible Virginia SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred Professional liability coverage Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills Commitment to compassionate, culturally responsive, client-centered care Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team Why Join Schie Health?
