Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students near Winchester, VA with your expertise as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). In this onsite position, you'll play a vital role in helping students overcome communication barriers and reach their full academic and social potential. This assignment runs through May 28th, 2027, offering a stable and impactful opportunity within a dynamic educational environment. Qualifications & Experience Hold a valid and current VA SLP License. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required. Experience working within a school setting is highly desired. Confident in providing comprehensive speech/language services for a diverse student population. Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. Key Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for speech and language services. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with district and state guidelines. Provide direct therapy and clearly document student progress. Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development as needed. Maintain accurate records and comply with all local, state, and federal requirements. What's Offered Consistent full-time schedule at 37.5 hours per week.
