Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This exciting contract opportunity offers a chance to work close to the vibrant South Royalton, VT area, supporting students' communication growth and academic success on a consistent weekly schedule (35-40 hours). Utilize your expertise and passion for helping others in a role where your clinical skills and genuine dedication will positively shape the experiences of school-aged children.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license for Vermont (or willingness to obtain prior to assignment) Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred Strong collaborative and interpersonal communication abilities Excellent organizational skills and a student-centered approach

Responsibilities:

Provide screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique requirements Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to maximize student progress Maintain thorough documentation of student progress, session notes, and required reports Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions Deliver both group and one-on-one interventions This contract position enables you to build professional relationships within a school community, empowering students to find their voices over the course of the school year.
