Aug 19, 2026 Job Description The Addison Northwest School District is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for grades K - 5 to evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. To treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Provide training and education to staff and families and work collaboratively with a variety of professionals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Include the following, and other duties may be assigned. Work with school-age children and young adults Listen to concerns about academic, social language problems and provide strategies and interventions to remediate concerns Provide consultative services to staff Evaluate and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders Treat via direct instruction speech, language, and communication disorders Meet with parents and teachers to discuss speech, language, and communication concerns Research and implement learning programs Conduct special education evaluations Work with students who use augmentative and alternative communication systems Provide aural rehabilitation for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
