Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication growth in a vibrant school community near Woodstock, VT. In this role, you'll provide speech-language pathology services to a diverse caseload of 30 students, ranging from pre-K through 6th grade. This assignment covers two friendly school settings and offers a consistent schedule during school hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for a total of 22.5 hours per week. The position begins September 3 and continues through June 10.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current and active SLP-CCC certification State licensure (or eligibility) in Vermont Previous experience with school-aged children, especially those with typical developmental needs Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students across two elementary schools Teletherapy is not included in this role; on-site presence is required

Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students aged pre-K through 6th grade Develop and implement individualized treatment plans according to IEP guidelines Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings Foster a positive, inclusive environment for every student served
