Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist makes a daily impact. This full-time, onsite position runs the entire school year and focuses on serving an elementary student caseload near Auburn, WA. In this contract role, you'll have the chance to work closely with students, teachers, and families to foster communication growth and academic progress, all while being part of a supportive school environment.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

Active SLP license or eligibility in Washington State ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience working with school-aged children, especially in elementary settings Strong background in speech, language, and communication disorders Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement individualized IEPs Passionate about making a difference in children's educational journeys

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy to an elementary caseload of approximately 35 students Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress Write and update IEPs, and participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member Provide support to classroom teachers and staff with recommendations and strategies Maintain accurate, thorough records in compliance with school and state guidelines Work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to support carryover skills at home Take advantage of this opportunity to work your magic in a classroom setting, building relationships and fostering success for elementary learners.
