9645358-98579 Job Description Step into a rewarding school-based role in the vibrant communities surrounding greater Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, and nearby areas. This contract opportunity is designed for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a meaningful difference with K-12 students across multiple locations. Work full-time on-site, either four days a week at 8.75 hours per day or five days at 8 hours per day, based on your preference. This position provides essential speech and language services in personvirtual options and SLPAs are not considered for this opening. Your expertise will support learners in districts throughout Mason, Grays Harbor, Pacific, and Thurston counties, and youll have the chance to work with children from diverse backgrounds and all grade levels.
Desired Qualifications:
Hold a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Current state licensure for practice as an SLP. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Recent experience working with school-aged populations (K-12). Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills. Reliable transportation for commuting across assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to students across various campuses. Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating with educators, families, and support staff. Screen, assess, and document student progress while adhering to district and state requirements. Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise for student success. Travel between sites in the specified counties as required.
