Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling opportunity shaping young voices and lives as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. A thriving educational community near Seattle is seeking five skilled SLPs to support K-12 students during the 2026-2027 school year. With a focus on in-person impact, you'll engage with diverse learners and become an integral part of their academic and personal development. This contract role offers a mix of four full-time (7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week) and one 0.7 FTE position, allowing for variety and flexibility in your professional journey. Caseloads are well-balanced, typically ranging from 48-60 students, focusing on individualized support while maintaining a collaborative workload.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Active Washington SLP license and ESA certification Successful fingerprint clearance through OSPI Experience working in K-12 schools preferred Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialistsKey Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to students across kindergarten through high school Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with district and legal guidelines Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents on student development and intervention strategies Adapt speech and language interventions to diverse learning needs This position offers the possibility to make a tangible difference within a dynamic and supportive school environment.
