Job Description

High paying part-time or full-time in person SLP position for 26-27 school year, interviewing ASAP. Our therapists provide direct therapy services, conduct evaluations, and attend all IEP and Evaluation meetings in person or on zoom. Our therapists have extensive experience working in the school setting and adopt an academic-focused, child-led mindset when planning services and working with families and teachers. Advantageous Qualities You are familiar with the MTSS and RTI processes and are ready to discuss implementation strategies and resources for classroom teachers. You are team-oriented and can explain communication challenges to teachers in a way that creates opportunities to reduce barriers for diverse communication styles and needs in the classroom setting. You have a culturally responsive practice approach and are equally proactive and adaptive with session planning. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication challenges in students ages 5-10. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs, focusing on speech therapy and language development. Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve articulation, fluency, and receptive or expressive language skills for the academic setting. Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent support and progress tracking. Digitally monitor progress daily, maintaining detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and patient records in compliance with healthcare standards. Educate families on home exercises and communication strategies to reinforce therapy goals outside clinical settings. Requirements Master's degree completed or in progress. Washington ESA or Conditional ESA (apply and reach out to learn more, SLPAs encouraged to apply) . Experience working with pediatric populations in school or clinical settings. Clean record and background check. Familiarity with physiology and anatomy for speech production.
