Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school-based speech-language professional opportunity is available in Winlock, WA, offering a contract position dedicated to supporting students with speech and language needs. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive speech and language services within an educational setting, serving a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed evaluations for students presenting speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting specific communication goals Facilitate therapy sessions designed to improve speech and language abilities Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes Collaborate closely with educators, specialists, and other team members to provide integrated care Involve and educate families to support student progress and therapy goals
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology This position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in a school community through specialized speech-language services. Support for professional development is provided by a dedicated advisory team of SLPs within the state, ensuring continual growth and guidance. Compensation for this position ranges from $44.87 to $64.87. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
