Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Brookfield, WI
Job Description

This contract opportunity is available for both a full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time speech-language pathologist for the 2022-2023 school year, working with an engaging and diverse group of K-8th grade students. You'll support a caseload of approximately 31 students, fostering communication growth for learners from all backgrounds and abilities. The position focuses on delivering individualized and group therapy to a varied population, collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and families. What you'll bring: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting Current state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as an SLP Ability to develop and implement IEP goals for students Strong communication and documentation skills Passion for helping students realize their full potential Key responsibilities: Conduct speech/language screenings, evaluations, and therapy Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with staff and families to support student growth Maintain detailed records of student progress and compliance Provide therapy and interventions tailored to each student's needs Participate in meetings and in-service training as required This position offers the chance to positively influence children's academic and social development while working in a progressive, supportive environment.
