What they do
A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates may be considered if supervision can be arranged Previous experience providing speech therapy in a school or pediatric setting Familiarity with IEP process and educational documentation Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsKey Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students, both individually and in groups Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, families, and educational staff to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive educational environment This contract role is an excellent opportunity for SLPs seeking to work with diverse student needs and partner with a dedicated educational community.
