Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in a vibrant educational community! An experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC) is sought to provide essential speech and language services across multiple grade levels. This onsite, full-time position offers the chance to make a direct impact while collaborating with a dynamic team of educators and specialists. This role encompasses a varied and manageable caseload of approximately 38-40 students, working with elementary, middle, and high school learners. You'll implement evidence-based interventions, support IEP development, and facilitate progress towards communication goals in a supportive environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP-CCC credential Active state SLP license (or eligibility prior to start date) Previous school-based experience preferred, ideally across multiple grade levels Able to collaborate effectively with students, families, and a multidisciplinary team Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities Include:

Conduct speech and language assessments and provide individualized therapy to meet students' needs Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in accordance with state and federal guidelines Maintain accurate records and progress reports Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families Engage in IEP meetings and team discussions to advocate for student success Provide support and consultation in strategies for classroom communication challenges This contract position offers a set Monday-Friday schedule, allowing for work-life balance during the school year.
