9520635-25177 Job Description Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working with PK-8 students across several sites near Saint Albans, WV. This contract opportunity offers a varied and engaging setting, where you'll support young learners in achieving their communication and language goals throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. Ideal candidates bring SLP-CCC credentials and a passion for working within school environments. With a manageable caseload of around 40 students spanning PreK through eighth grade, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to deliver consistent, high-quality services. Your expertise will directly enhance student progress in speech, language, and overall academic success.
Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology Experience providing services in school settings, PK-8 preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to travel across multiple school sites as needed
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for PK-8 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Deliver direct therapy and consultative services per IEP requirements Maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP meetings Communicate progress with teachers, staff, and families Travel to assigned schools within the designated area to ensure service continuity This is a rewarding, collaborative role for a dedicated SLP looking to make a difference in the lives of school-age learners.
