A skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for a contract position within a school setting in Tuscaloosa, AL. This role offers the opportunity to support students with speech and language development under the guidance of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing speech and language treatment plans tailored to individual student needs. Monitor student progress and report observations to the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist. Prepare materials and assist with administrative tasks related to speech therapy sessions. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals. Maintain confidentiality and comply with all relevant regulations and school policies.Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid SLPA certification or licensure as required by the state. Experience working with children in educational settings preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
