Job description:
Sonoran Schools is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) to join our team as an for the 2026-2027 school year. This role supports our Tucson campuses and is ideal for an experienced SLP-A seeking flexibility and a strong work-life balance. This position includes direct therapy with school aged students K-12. Caseload includes students with articulation, language, phonological, and pragmatic language needs. Appropriate supervision by CCC-SLP will be provided in accordance with ASHA guidelines. The SLP-A will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help students meet their communication goals and ensure services are delivered with consistency and care.Please note:
Remote-only contractors will not be considered.Position Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP Collect and document student progress data Support IEP compliance and accurate service tracking Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families as appropriate Maintain professional and ethical standardsQualifications:
Active SLP-A license Completion of a bachelor's degree in speech-language or similar program School-based experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage time effectively between 2 physical campusesEqual Opportunity Statement:
