Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference supporting students' communication needs as a contracted Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming school year! Two full-time positions are available, working with a welcoming team serving elementary and middle school caseloads. Enjoy a structured schedule (30 hours per week) and the opportunity to start making an impact quickly, as interviews are being scheduled immediately.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Experience supporting children in educational or healthcare settings Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students Strong collaboration and communication skills Understanding of IEP implementation and progress monitoring Comfortable working with elementary and/or middle school students Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to student success SLP Clinical Fellows (CFs) unfortunately cannot be considered for these roles
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as directed by supervising SLPs Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) Collect data and contribute to progress reports for student goals Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student needs Prepare and organize therapy materials appropriate for elementary/middle school levels Support students in group and one-on-one sessions Maintain accurate documentation of services provided This contract opportunity runs from August 26 through June 27, offering a rewarding path for skilled SLPAs passionate about student support.
