About the Employer Located in the greater Redding area, the Mountain Valley Special Education JPA is a consortium of 13 small school districts and one charter school that was created to provide a broader continuum of services for students with disabilities. Job Summary Works under the direction and supervision of the Speech-Language Pathologist, completes a variety of tasks such as, but not limited to activities designed to develop pre-language and language skills, oral-motor control for speech production, vocalization, and use of assistive technology devices for communication. The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant works with students who have identified speech and language disorders as well as other disabilities. 8 hours per day with 30 minute lunch; generally 7:30am

• 4:00pm depending on site assignment Prorated benefits based on FTE Education Stipend (paid annually for highest level)
