Speech Pathologist Assistant or Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to diverse patient populations, including pediatric school age kiddos. Responsibilities Implement individualized speech-language therapy plans under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, ensuring tailored interventions for each patient. Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess communication abilities and identify areas for improvement. Deliver engaging therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques across various settings, including clinics, schools, and telehealth platforms. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including educators, occupational therapists, and medical professionals—to coordinate care strategies. Engage with parents and caregivers to provide education, support, and progress updates, fostering active participation in therapy goals. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, session notes, and treatment plans Stay current with advancements in physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and speech-language pathology best practices to ensure effective patient care. Requirements Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech Pathologist Assistant with appropriate state certification. Experience working with pediatric populations, including early intervention programs and school settings. Demonstrated knowledge of speech therapy techniques for individuals with disabilities or speech impairments across age groups. Familiarity with conducting comprehensive assessments and developing customized therapy plans aligned with patient needs. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation and reporting purposes. Experience delivering telehealth therapy sessions using secure platforms is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy related to speech and swallowing functions is essential. Ability to work with diverse populations including children with developmental delays or disabilities as well as geriatric patients requiring speech or language support.
