This opportunity is perfect for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) drawn to making a difference with children and young adults ages 6 to 22. Youll provide valuable support for learners on the Autism Spectrum, working 12 hours per week in a collaborative educational setting close to San Rafael, CA.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active SLPA license/certification in California Previous experience in a school environment preferred Familiarity with supporting students on the Autism Spectrum is highly valued Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team Compassion, patience, and creative problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

Assist supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering therapy to students Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and communication goals as directed Support and facilitate language, articulation, social-pragmatic, and functional communication activities Track student progress and document session notes accurately Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to generalize communication strategies across settings Adapt therapeutic materials and approaches based on individual needs Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
