This assignment runs from August 11 through June 3, offering 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You'll have the chance to contribute your expertise at either a high school or junior high setting near Santa Clarita, collaborating directly with SLPs to deliver quality care and services.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid SLPA license or certification for practice in California Background working within educational settings; high school or junior high experience is a plus Familiarity with both school-based and healthcare speech-language practices Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Passion for fostering growth and communication skills in students

Primary Responsibilities:

Implement treatment plans under the supervision of licensed SLPs Support students individually or in groups in achieving their speech and language goals Document student progress and provide accurate, timely updates to the supervising SLP Participate in team meetings, IEPs, and collaborate with education staff to tailor interventions Adapt strategies as needed to maximize student development and participation
