Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide support across two school sites. This role is based in Pueblo, CO, and offers a four-day workweek, Monday through Thursday, with optional professional development days on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy and support services to students. Implement treatment plans developed by speech-language pathologists. Document and track student progress and adjust support strategies accordingly. Collaborate with educators and other school staff to enhance communication outcomes. Support students across two assigned school locations, ensuring consistent service delivery.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Experience working in school-based or healthcare settings is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively. Commitment to supporting student speech and language development.
Location:
Pueblo, Colorado Additional Details:
Full-time position for the school year. Four-day workweek (Monday through Thursday). Optional professional development days on Fridays. Contract assignment.
