Ute Pass BOCES supports Cripple Creek- Victor School District RE-1 and Woodland Park School District RE-2. We are committed to providing high-quality, student-centered services that promote communication, learning, and independence for all students. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) to support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering services to students with communication disorders. This role involves working with diverse student populations across school settings, implementing therapy plans, and contributing to student progress. Key Responsibilities Implement speech and language therapy activities as directed by a supervising licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Assist in the preparation of therapy materials and activities Support students in individual and group therapy sessions Collect and document data on student performance and progress Maintain accurate and timely service logs and documentation Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers Assist with screenings and clerical duties as needed Travel between school sites within the BOCES region as assigned Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) authorization as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently under supervision and as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Working Conditions School-based environment serving students from preschool through high school May require travel between multiple district locations Regular school-year schedule with possible extended school year (ESY) opportunities $25-$40 per hour
