This contract position offers the opportunity to support speech-language pathologist (SLP) services and help students thrive in a virtual learning environment. Desired Skills and Experience:
Prior paraprofessional experience in school settings preferred Understanding of SLP services and familiarity with virtual educational tools Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to assist with student engagement and follow guidance from SLPs Patient, positive, and adaptable in a dynamic remote learning environment Comfortable with technology and virtual classroom platforms
Responsibilities:
Facilitate virtual speech-language sessions under the supervision of an SLP Support students' participation, encourage engagement, and monitor progress Assist with scheduling, preparing virtual learning materials, and documenting session activities Communicate regularly with SLPs, teachers, and families to support student needs Ensure a supportive, inclusive environment for all learners Adapt strategies to individual student requirements and feedback Enjoy the flexibility and rewarding nature of working remotely, while contributing to the academic and personal development of students.
