If you are passionate about the future and growth of the next generation, then we want to speak with you! Speech Therapist Assistant Requirements-
- Follow individualized plans of care based upon evaluation and reassessment with creative sessions to engage children.
- Work with children/youth on the Autism Spectrum as well as a variety of other very complex diagnoses.
- Educate patients and family members, keep detailed records relating to patient conditions
- Assess patients regularly, monitor progress toward treatment goals, and relay information to speech therapist if modifying plans is needed
- Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for corrective action and process improvement
- Promote positive work environment, collaborate with team members on patient care
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including OT, ABA, PT, teachers and nursing
- Weekly and Direct Speech Therapist supervision and communication. Qualifications- Speech Therapist Assistant
- Speech Therapist Assistant Degree
- Licensed or ability to be licensed in the state of Florida
- Pediatric Certified Specialist preferred
- Experience working with children required
- 3 years of experience preferred.
- Experience working in a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care setting a plus
- Ability to independently treat patients by developing and following an established therapy plan of care
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for building relationships with patients
- Self-starter with a strong level of accountability and creativity.
