We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist/Assistant to join our team at our clinic in Davie, specializing in pediatrics. This role is essential in helping students overcome speech and language challenges, ensuring they can effectively communicate and succeed academically. Duties Implement speech therapy sessions focusing on improving articulation, fluency, voice, and language skills. Collaborate with other team members Provide early intervention services to children with speech and language delays. Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes. Educate families on strategies to support their child's communication development at home. Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy. Skills Experience working with children in a clinic setting Knowledge of medical terminology related to speech-language pathology. Proficiency in understanding physiology and anatomy as it relates to speech production. Familiarity with early intervention techniques for young children. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with students, families, and educational staff. Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students achieve their communication goals.
