Step into a valued role supporting K-12 students and speech-language pathologists in a dynamic school setting through a rewarding contract position. As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you will help meet the needs of larger caseloads by providing direct communication therapy, tracking student progress, and aiding in the implementation of individualized treatment plans. Your work will span 1 to 3 schools in the area, with autonomy to create your own weekly and daily schedule based on campus needsenabling you to manage your caseload flexibly and efficiently.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Active SLPA license in Kansas (or eligibility) Previous SLPA experience in educational settings preferred Familiarity with K-12 student populations Strong collaboration skills to work alongside supervising SLPs Reliable transportation and willingness to commute to multiple school sites weekly Organized, self-motivated, and able to adapt to changing needs and schedules

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct therapy to students under SLP direction, supporting speech and language goals Document student progress and maintain accurate data and records Assist in preparing materials and adapting treatment plans collaboratively with supervising SLPs Communicate professionally with staff, parents, and students across multiple campuses Maintain compliance with district policies and state/federal guidelines
