9684575-01002 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in a dynamic school setting! As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you will work onsite, collaborating with certified Speech-Language Pathologists and school staff to deliver quality services to children and adolescents. This contract position is full time, with potential part-time options available to accommodate your schedule.
Qualifications and Experience:
Associates degree from an accredited SLPA program or related coursework as required for SLPA state licensure Current and valid SLPA license/certification (or ability to obtain prior to start) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently under supervision Organizational skills and flexibility in supporting a variety of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs), under the supervision of an SLP Track and document student progress and session notes in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines Support implementation of speech-language goals within both classroom and therapy settings Prepare materials and adapt activities for sessions based on students needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to maximize student growth Participate in training, meetings, and professional development to enhance service delivery This is an onsite position where youll make a daily difference in the lives of students, helping them achieve essential communication milestones.
