Qualifications:

Associates degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program State licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Experience working with K-12 students in an academic setting is preferred Bilingual fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus (not required) Strong communication, time management, and organizational abilities Adaptability and empathy when working with students from various backgrounds

Responsibilities:

Support the implementation of speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Assist in conducting screenings, documenting student progress, and maintaining accurate records Work one-on-one and in small groups to reinforce therapy goals and provide practical communication exercises Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' individualized education programs (IEPs) Participate in school meetings, training, and professional development as needed Provide a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students This is a valuable chance to grow your experience in school-based therapy, contribute to student success, and connect with a dynamic, mission-driven staff.
