The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct speech and language services and support student communication development across educational settings. Position Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress toward IEP goals and objectives Assist with documentation and progress monitoring Facilitate Tier 2 social pragmatic language groups for students requiring targeted social communication support Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to support student success Maintain confidentiality and comply with all district, state, and federal regulations Participate in team meetings and professional development as assigned Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or related field Current state licensure/certification as a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant, if required by state regulations Experience working with school-aged students preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team Experience supporting students with social communication needs preferred Supervision The SLP-A will work under the supervision of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist in accordance with state regulations and professional standards.
