Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting student communication needs in a dynamic educational environment near North Adams, MA. As a valued Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you'll work full time from 8:25am to 3:10pm, providing essential services for a diverse caseload of students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade. Exact caseload will be confirmed soon, with an anticipated range of 30-40 students.

Key Qualifications:

Active SLPA license and credentials appropriate for school-based practice Experience in, or passion for, working with children and adolescents ages Pre-K through 12 Solid skills in implementing therapy plans designed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Excellent communication, organization, and recordkeeping abilities Adaptability and eagerness to collaborate with teachers and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver speech-language therapy sessions as directed by supervising SLP Maintain accurate session notes and participate in progress monitoring Support students in developing critical communication skills for academic and social success Communicate regularly with staff, therapists, and caregivers to optimize outcomes Assist with the preparation of instructional materials and therapy activities
