Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team in North Adams, Massachusetts. This full-time opportunity will support students across Pre-K through 12th grade, working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. The anticipated caseload is approximately 30-40 students, with the exact caseload to be determined by the school director. Responsibilities Provide speech and language services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Implement treatment plans and therapy activities developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist. Support students across a range of communication needs and developmental levels. Collect and document student data and progress. Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and the supervising SLP. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Participate as appropriate in team meetings and school-based activities. Qualifications Current Massachusetts SLPA licensure/certification or eligibility to practice as an SLPA in Massachusetts. Appropriate educational background in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. School-based experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with students across a wide range of ages and needs.
