Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. This contract position serves two elementary locations near Minneapolis, MN, engaging with a diverse student caseload of 50-60. You'll work alongside an experienced speech-language pathology team, helping students achieve their communication goals from August 31 through June 4. With a steady weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, you'll have the chance to build impactful connections and see student growth throughout the academic year.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Minnesota SLPA license (please provide current license number on application) Experience working in elementary school settings preferred Strong skills in implementing therapy plans as directed by a supervising SLP Ability to manage and organize documentation efficiently Collaborative nature for working with teachers, parents, and related service staff Adaptability and positivity in dynamic school environments
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with delivering speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 50-60 students Implement treatment plans under SLP supervision across Centerview and Northpoint Elementary Document student progress and maintain records in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in team meetings, IEP processes, and parent communication as needed Support the creation of materials and activities tailored to each student's needs This opportunity combines meaningful student impact with a supportive educational community.
