An immediate opportunity awaits a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) eager to contribute within an elementary school setting. This role provides a wonderful chance to work directly with students, serving as leave coverage, and potentially establishing lasting professional relationships. In this contract position, youll be on-site, working 37.5 hours per week at one elementary school. Youll be part of a dedicated team supporting young learners and have the potential for extending your impact, as the current district needs may translate into a longer-term assignment.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Current, active Missouri SLPA license required Prior experience in school-based settings preferred, especially with elementary age groups Ability to adapt and provide effective therapy to diverse student needs Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to complete fingerprinting and provide a TCN number for district clearance Completion of district contractor forms as part of credentialing

What Youll Do:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP Support students communication goals as outlined in their IEPs Collaborate with educational teams, families, and supervisors for student success Accurately document session notes and monitor student progress Ensure compliance with district procedures and confidentiality requirements Experience the rewards of working in a vibrant educational community while building your expertise.
