Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference supporting students by bringing your Speech-Language Pathology Assistant expertise to an engaging part-time contract role in a vibrant school community near Derry, NH. This opportunity is ideal for professionals excited to work onsite with 2nd-5th grade students, with occasional support for preschoolers, in a collaborative educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLPA licensure in New Hampshire required Prior experience in a school-based setting is essential Comfortable with diverse caseloads, including preschool and ABA self-contained program Must complete district fingerprinting Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families Ready to participate in virtual (Zoom) interviews
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality speech-language support services to 2nd-5th grade students and occasionally preschoolers Collaborate closely with special education teams and classroom staff within the ABA program Implement treatment goals under supervision, maintaining detailed session documentation Adapt engagement strategies based on student needs to promote progress in communication skills Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and dynamic school atmosphere
Details:
Contract role, part-time (21 hours/week over 3 days) Onsite work, Monday through Friday (specific three days per week to be determined) Start date: ASAP, through June 17, 2027
Pay:
