Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into an engaging contract opportunity where you'll support students in grades 2 through 5, as well as preschoolers when needed, in an onsite role designed for an enthusiastic SLPA. This part-time position offers a consistent 3-day workweek (21 hours/week), starting August 24, 2026 and continuing through June 17, 2027. You'll become an integral resource within a self-contained ABA program, fostering communication growth and making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current New Hampshire SLPA licensure required. Prior experience working in school-based settings essential. Ability to work effectively with students from preschool age through 5th grade. Comfortable servicing students in an ABA self-contained environment. District fingerprint clearance required prior to start date.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services onsite in accordance with student IEP goals. Support communication skill-building for a caseload primarily in grades 2-5, with occasional services for preschool students. Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other related service providers. Maintain accurate records and progress notes for each student. Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise during intervention planning. Adapt strategies and materials to suit diverse learning profiles within the self-contained ABA program.
