In this role, you will support licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering high-quality speech therapy services to children and individuals with disabilities. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster effective communication skills, support early intervention efforts, and enhance overall client outcomes. Responsibilities Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing speech therapy plans tailored to each client's needs, including those with language disorders and speech delays. Support children and students with disabilities by providing engaging therapy sessions focused on improving speech, language, and communication skills. Document progress under supervision, ensuring compliance with treatment plans. Utilize your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to help deliver targeted interventions for speech and swallowing disorders. Support early intervention programs by working directly with children in a pediatric setting to promote language development. Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, including educators, occupational therapists, and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive care. Experience Prior experience working with children or students with disabilities in educational or clinical settings is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of speech-language pathology principles, including speech disorders support and language development strategies. Familiarity with medical terminology related to speech and swallowing disorders enhances your ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.. Strong understanding of child language development stages and early intervention techniques is essential for success in this role. Proven ability to communicate clearly with clients, families, and team members while maintaining a positive and motivating approach.
