Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, supporting K-12th grade students for the upcoming school year. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference, providing both direct and indirect speech-language services. You'll be working 37.5 hours per week with a consistent schedule from August 11, 2026, through May 20, 2027. All hours are guaranteed, and you will not be assigned additional district tasks outside of your contracted responsibilities—no bus duty or parent pickup required. Travel therapists are also eligible to receive stipends.
Qualifications:
Hold an active license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Previous experience working in school settings is highly desirable Comfortable providing support to K-12th grade students Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist Collaborate with staff and administration to address students' speech and language needs Maintain thorough documentation according to school standards Support individualized education plans (IEPs) by tracking progress and goals Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
